JobFit ("the extension") is a Chrome extension that matches your resume against job postings found in your Gmail inbox. This policy explains what data the extension accesses, how it is used, and what is never collected.
resumes and jobposts in your Gmail account. Only those labeled emails are read; no other email is accessed.Resume text and job posting text are sent to a large language model (LLM) API of your choice (Groq, OpenAI, Anthropic, or a locally-running Ollama instance) to generate a match score and summary. No other use is made of your data.
chrome.storage. They are never uploaded to any server.When you first sign in, JobFit automatically collects your Gmail address and stores it securely on Cloudflare's infrastructure. This is used solely to contact you about JobFit product updates and early access features. Your email address is never shared with third parties or used for advertising. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us via GitHub Issues.
The extension does not share your data with the developer or any third party, except for the LLM API you configure. Please review the privacy policy of your chosen LLM provider:
